Touring Michigan State University

Whether you want your group to get a taste of college life, spend a day exploring our gardens and park-like campus, or just enjoy a day of pure fun, make Michigan State University your destination.

Michigan State University offers tours for all age groups. We will work with you to arrange a tour that meets your goals, and still allows for a fun-filled trip.
Check out our Campus Locations before submitting a Tour Request to begin planning your MSU experience.

Residence Hall tours are also available by reservation only for groups in 9th grade or older.

Tours must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance, but since many facilities are booked several months ahead of time, early reservations are recommended.

All of our available tour dates for the 2015-2016 school year have been filled.

Please note, we do not offer tours from June through August due to our summer operations.
The tour request form will go live on Friday August 5, 2016. At that time, guests will be able to request tours that start September 6, 2016. Submissions will be accepted for visits through May 2017.

Michigan State University does have other visit experiences to offer, including: the MSU Museum, Abram’s Planetarium, the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory, the MSU Bug House, MSU Dairy Store, and the Broad Art Museum. You can connect with these venues directly through our Campus Locations page.

You can also arrange a self-guided walking tour of campus for your group with this map.

We have it all, and you can too when you become a Spartan for a day. Want to experience even more of MSU? Check out our Spartan Youth Programs for multi-day camps for kids of all ages.
